The Burano
About the Project: The Burano Condominiums shoring project (December 2008 – August 2009) involved a continuous caisson wall to permit the excavation of a 8-level subterranean parking garage for the construction of the high-rise condo located at Bay and College Streets in downtown Toronto.
Our Task: To drill to a depth of 85ft. The retention system consisted of 240 tiebacks and 12 sets of corner braces.
